my filter is leaking
I have noticed that my filter is leaking the nicotine liquid, is there a way to prevent that from happening?

RE: my filter is leaking
I just bought mine yesterday and it also is leaking from the filter when I drag on it. I get a sweet taste and it numbs the tip of my tongue a little and my lips feel tingly. Is this dangerous??????

RE: my filter is leaking
Remember to keep the tip of your e-cigarette slightly lower than the mouthpiece. that will stop most of the leaking.

If you refill your cartridges, be careful not to over-fill them. If the liquid pools on the pad, it's too full. Too much liquid will cause leaks and will reduce the life of your atomizer.

RE: my filter is leaking
I read years ago that a drop of pure liquid nicotine put on the skin would burn a hole into the flesh like an acid. I would deduce that even though it is in an alcohol based fluid, this may still be considered dangerous. Constant numbing of the tongue is probably the reaction of too much nicotine hitting the flesh. I would think that it is a process that should not be repeated to often. Nicotine constantly introduced into the mouth, as in tobacco chewers and snuffers also have a higher risk of cancer in those related areas.

RE: my filter is leaking
Thanks for all the information about nicotine and leakage of filter. I did not know that nicotine can burn flesh like this. I have also been smoking electronic cigarettes since some months but have not faced leaking till now. Whenever I refill my cartridges I take great care to see that I have not over-filled it. Maybe that is why my filter hasn’t leaked.

i am sorry that if your filter leak, it shows that your electronic cigarette has a bad quality to use.
