RE: Battery replacement
When first charging the e cig you should not over charge it, meaning not more then 8 hours, or an average overnight charge. Every time you re-charge your e cig don't let it stay connected more then 4 hours this way you will have a longer battery life.

That's what I know about my jnoy, I had it for the last 7 months and never had to replace the battery and it lasts me for a full day compared to smoking a pack a day.

Mark.

I have experienced this too at work. I just bring a spare charged battery with me each day. None of the batteries last as long as claimed in my opinion.

RE: Battery replacement
I think what frustrates new e-cigarette smokers is the inconsistency and the maintenance. When you smoke a tobacco cigarette, every puff is nearly the same.

The electric cigarette consists of three components; battery, atomizer, and cartridge. The battery provides the power to the atomizer which heats the liquid in the cartridge to produce vapor.

If any of the three components are weak, the vapor will be weak.

And the components fail. Smoking a DSE103 mini, atomizers only last me a couple of weeks. In five months, I've had two batteries fail... not wear out. And I've noticed that, as the batteries get older, they hold a charge for a shorter time.

So if you don't want to get frustrated into smoking tobacco again, keep yourself well stocked. I keep a charger at home, one in the car, and one in the office. I always carry a spare battery and atomizer. When I get down to two atomizers, I order ten more. I have a total of five batteries.

I do one thing to keep my cost down. I refill cartridges.

And the great thing is, even with all that provisioning, my average e-smoking cost is USD$3.30/day. That's half the cost of smoking tobacco cigarettes.
