School Smoking
At my school here in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada, smoking was allowed in the teacher's lounge for staff, and anywhere on outdoor property for students in the 80's. The 90's led to the changes of smokers having to smoke in a designated area behind the school and nowhere indoors. The year 2004, smokers no longer had their smoking pit and were forced to either smoke on the front sidewalk, along the nearby highway or in their own vehicle in the parking lot. NOW, in 2010, we can no longer smoke in our own vehicles. Over the past three decades they've stomped on our rights. In Saskatchewan, the average winter day (which IS coming up over the next few months) is -25 degrees celsius. Smoking outside in that is fucking apeshit but we used to be able to smoke in the sanctity of our own vehicles with heated seats and heating vents. I think their master plan is to hope that we all die of hypothermia so they can finally finish off the smoking race with one final knockout punch: NO SMOKING ANYWHERE. Any thoughts? Thanks. Tongue
